In Jesus - 12-23-2012 - A tear and a kiss

I was at Walmart before heading over to my parent's place for dinner and got to pray for a man in a wheel chair. He had osteo arthritis. His hands were starting to twist up. He also had these sores on his skin but I'm not sure what they were. They were on his face and hands. Pretty much any of his exposed skin. I was in the check out when I noticed them (him and a female), waiting just past the check out lines at the front of the store by the greeter. I approached them and asked what was wrong. Why he was in the wheel chair. He had explained the infirmity that was on him. I asked what the pain level was at, but he said he was feeling pretty good right now as he had taken something to kill the pain. His name was Neil. I forget her name. I explained "I pray for people and God heals them. Can I pray for you? Would you like to be healed?" He seemed thankful and said yes. With his permission, I took his hand that was already starting to twist up, covered in these little bumpy sores, into my hands and looked at him and commanded the spirit of arthritis to leave him. I commanded all pain to leave him. I took authority over every infirmity and commanded it OUT with soft but forceful voice and finished it up with "in Jesus' name". I could see a tear start to roll down out of his right eye. I asked him how he felt and if he felt any different. He took my hands to his face and kissed them. It was quite evident how thankful and hopeful he truly was. He said he would know after. I am guessing he meant after the medication wore off. I believe he is healed. God's word don't lie, Mark 16:18. You know, I don't know why, but I completely forgot to ask him to get up and try walking. It wasn't like I was in unbelief and thinking he wouldn't be able to. It was just a thought that was completely absent from my mind. Next time, I guess. Maybe I gotta slow down and actually love on these people more than I am. Mind you, I was late for dinner and in a bit of a rush to get there. Help me to be more like you, Lord. It sure blessed me to see his reaction though. I asked the female how she was doing and if there was anything I could pray for her for, but she was fine. I also asked Neil if there was anything else. He said no too. We parted ways wishing each other a Merry Christmas. God is good!

Stop for the one. It might not be perfect all the time, but we never know the impact we have on people, even in that short amount of time.

In Jesus - 12-21-2012 - End of the world

So, for the end of the world today I got to pray for and bless a couple people. I think this is good. For the last couple of months I haven't been making too much extra effort in stepping out to share the gospel of the kingdom in word or by deed (ie, healing the sick). I feel it is time to step that up again. I desire to be more fruitful in the Lord. I think you will see more updates from me in the coming months. I hope that it may encourage some of you who read this blog (Matt. 5:16, Heb.10:24).

At lunch break, I met Rick and Denise. Rick was in a motorized chair/buggy and had MS on him. They were fellow Christians. I got to lay hands on Rick and command healing into his body and the MS out. I also shared some with them in how I believe the scriptures show that it is always God's will to heal. Rick was thankful for the prayer and said that he had felt better after it. I did not have him try to walk though. I should have. But they were in a bit of a rush to get going after our talk. I will try to remember to press for that next time.

On my way home from work I met a man named Bill whom I had prayed for last August. He was having back pains again. I laid my hand on his back and commanded the pain to leave in Jesus' name. He reported it being much better afterwards and was really blessed and thankful. As was I.

I forget how much of a blessing it is to myself when I step out to give people a blessing from the Lord as a son of light in the kingdom of God.

Thank you for using me today, Father! MORE!

In Jesus - 12-20-2012 - leg grows, pain goes, some renewing comes.

After work today I was talking with a brother in Christ in the front lobby of the building. I noticed that he was putting his hand on his back so I asked him about back pain. I had prayed for him a few months before and it left. He said it was back. Well, Jesus grew out his leg today and took the pain away again. I love that! It encouraged him to be able to do the same for his own family. His mother was in hospital with a growth in her stomach and they fear it is cancer. I shared with him...

...how we are all, as believers, to be able to lay hands on the sick and see them recover (Mark 16:17-18). We all, as believers, will do the same works as Jesus did and even greater works because He went to the Father (John 14:12) and sent the Holy Spirit to live inside of us (John 16:7). The Holy Spirit is the anointing that abides (1 John 2:27). He does not leave you (John 14:16). You always have the anointing in you. It is just that our minds have to be renewed to the truths found in the word of God as to who we are in Him and who He is in us. Renew our minds and we will be able to prove the good and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2). Part of that will is that the sick should be healed and set free from the oppression of the devil. God was with Jesus and He went about doing good, healing all oppressed by the devil, and if you are a born again believer, He is with you too so that you can do the same (Acts 10:38). Just take authority over the works of the devil (Luke 10:19) in the believer, non-believer or dead person, commanding the sickness or unclean spirit out, and their bodies to be healed, made whole, or to receive life in Jesus' name. The prayer of faith to save the sick (James 5:15) is talking about the faith of the person praying, not the person receiving the prayer.

What do you think? Do you think it's a good time to get your mind renewed? Are you wanting to see God move powerfully through you and giving others a real encounter with the God who lives inside you and desires for them to be saved, healed, and set free? Aside from reading the word of God, believing what you read, and doing it, listening to these can help get you there too. Sometimes lies or incorrect thinking regarding healing and things of the kingdom have to be addressed directly. That is where these teachings can really help: http://www.amostvehementflame.org/p/kingdom.html

LOVE!

Return to Your First Love

Return to your first love and be filled with all the fullness of God!

Love

What is it to love? What is it to know God?

Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars: And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted. Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. Revelation 2:1-7 (KJV)

For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. Ephesians 3:14-21 (KJV)

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. Matthew 7:22-27 (KJV)

I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. These things I command you, that ye love one another. John 15:1-17 (KJV)

And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. 1 John 3:3 (KJV)

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord Hebrews 12:14 (KJV)

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. Titus 2:11-14 (KJV)

In Jesus - 09-26-2012

Early this morning I got to pray for a man in a wheelchair who had been paralyzed in his left arm by a botched brain surgery. He said he could walk but it was difficult at times. He prayed with me as I commanded restoration to the brain and nerves and life to his arm and body. He did experience some warmth in his arm but still could not move it freely at that time. I encouraged Him that Jesus was our healer as well as our savior from sin, that 2000 years ago our healing was paid for, just as the payment for our sins was met in Jesus Christ, but we receive it now by faith and that I was going to stand on that fact for his healing. He was very blessed and thankful toward me for stopping to pray with him.

Later in the morning I got to meet and pray for an older gentleman named Oral who was sitting with his wife by the river. I noticed Oral as he had a cane, so I approached them. After briefly saying hi and asking them how they were doing, I explained that the reason I stopped is because I pray for people and God heals them, that I noticed the cane and wanted to ask if I could do that for him. He seemed leery at first but his wife was interested and said "Well, it couldn't hurt." He had some heart problems with a pacemaker and weakness in his body as a result, as well as pain in his shoulders from time to time, and also some problems with his legs. After commanding healing into his body in Jesus' name with my hand on his shoulder, he did not notice any difference. I had the thought that he would have a shorter leg, so I asked him about it and his wife confirmed that he did. He also mentioned he sometimes drags the left foot. He let me check and sure enough the right leg was short by 1/2 an inch or so. It took at least 5 minutes of commanding in Jesus' name for the right leg to grow out the same length as the left. I had him get up and see if he could feel the difference. He said he just feels weak. I prayed for his heart to receive the healing Jesus Christ already paid for 2000 years ago and for him to receive the life of God in all his body once again. He seemed very blessed and was very thankful afterwards. I asked them if they knew Jesus as Lord and his wife said "yes, we both do, as we were brought up in all of that.", and "We are catholic." Oral nodded his head 'no' though when I asked, in spite of what his wife had said. I explained to him what he would do to receive Jesus as Lord and how he could receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. He listened intently. His wife seemed to be trying get them out of there though, so I said my good-byes. He heard the truth and I trust he will place his faith in the Lord Jesus and walk with him. I just wish I could have had more time to talk with him. Thinking about it now, I am not sure, but I think maybe his wife got a little freaked out after his leg grew out, why she wanted out of there all of the sudden. Or maybe it was just that it took a while. However, they were just sitting there leisurely when I approached, so I don't know.

I then met a man who recently had surgery on his torn ACL. He had two crutches with him, which is what attracted me to him initially. He let me pray but didn't report feeling any change and did not seem to want to try and test it out. Initially I shared a bit about why I do what I do and he seemed to know a bit of the word, but after prayer and asking him if he knew if he was born again, as I was going to encourage him that he could do the same, he said he is a follower of Jesus but believes a little differently than me. That he would be considered on the outer edges of Christianity and said he didn't want to argue with me so he didn't want to discuss it. I explained I didn't want to argue with him either. I declared that I believe he will noticed that the ligament is better and said good bye, wishing him a wonderful day.

Thank you Lord Jesus! Be glorified more and more, to, in and through me!

Bless the Lord, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:
Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,
Who redeems your life from destruction,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
Who satisfies your mouth with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Psalm 103:1-5

He is despised, and left of men, A man of pains, and acquainted with sickness, And as one hiding the face from us, He is despised, and we esteemed him not.
Surely our sicknesses he hath borne, And our pains -- he hath carried them, And we -- we have esteemed him plagued, Smitten of God, and afflicted.
And he is pierced for our transgressions, Bruised for our iniquities, The chastisement of our peace [is] on him, And by his bruise there is healing to us.
All of us like sheep have wandered, Each to his own way we have turned, And Jehovah hath caused to meet on him, The punishment of us all.

Isaiah 53:3-6 (YLT)

When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying:
“He Himself took our infirmities
And bore our sicknesses.”

Matt. 8:16-17

For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps:
“Who committed no sin,
Nor was deceit found in His mouth”;
who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously; who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed. For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer[i] of your souls.

1 Peter 2:21-25

In Jesus - 09-22-2012

A late, and longer entry. Sorry. I wasn't going to share this initially, but on later thought, felt that it may encourage someone, myself included :)

On Saturday, my brother in Christ, Trevor, and myself got to go hand out some free sandwiches, pizza, brownies, hot chocolate and some Holy Bibles to the poor people around the downtown Salvation Army. We also got to pray for a few people for healing. One woman with back problems I believe and one man with many different problems including ensuing blindness (I believe from substance abuse). There was no reported changes in their bodies at that time but we believe Mark 16:18 ..they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover -- either now or later!

Just when we were about to be packing up to leave a man named Michael approached us and asked if we could give him a ride to the Hospital. He had a bag over his hand with blood dripping from it. He had broken something glass and sliced his finger or hand open while working with a candle somehow. He had done it a few hours earlier but couldn't afford or find a ride to the Hospital until that point. He said he had thought the Police would have at least help him, but said they did not. We took him to the Health Sciences Center and then prayed for him to be healed of the injury as well as for many pains in his body from previous accidents. He didn't report any noticeable changes at that time. He seemed very thankful and blessed for the help. He knew the Lord and said he would add us to his regular prayers.

As we left Michael in emergency and continued to walk around the outside of the Hospital, simultaneously, Trevor and myself felt a manifestation of the presence of God in tingling on our lower backs and legs. It was quite interesting and pleasurable to be honest. I thought that maybe it was a word of knowledge for healing for someone in a wheelchair and started to looked for some right away.

First we met a group of three adults and one small child. The child was also named Michael and he had some pains in his bandaged injured index fingers on both hands. His parents and possibly his grandmother let us pray. Who I suspected was his grandmother assured us that he would pray too as he prays every night. After a quick prayer of commanding the pain to leave and his fingers to be healed in Jesus' name, he said the pain was all gone. He was so joyful after that and made some playful gestures toward us with both hands.

We also go to pray for his mother for a queasy feeling in her stomach. She started to cry and cover her face as we prayed. She got up right away and left as their ride was there and the rest of her family had already jumped up to head into the cab while we were praying for her. We thought she was being touched by the Lord in a powerful way, but did not have the time to confirm.

We rounded the corner and then prayed for girl who had fractured her heal bone. She didn't report any change at that time. She knew about the Lord from childhood but was not walking with Him. We got to encourage her in His goodness and His desire to love her and walk with her as she would walked with Him.

We then got to where all the people in wheelchairs were! Not that we knew this was the area for them, but we saw 4 different people in wheelchairs coming out of one set of doors in a very short span of time. 2 of the people let us minister to them and 2 didn't seem interested at all.

First we got to pray for a man who had a cyst in his spine and it caused damage to the spinal cord. He reported feeling a bit better in his legs and thought he could move them more, but didn't want to try getting up to test them out.

We also got to pray for young man who was in an accident which causing him to be paralyzed in his legs. He also had a dislocated shoulder from falling during physiotherapy. He did not report any changes in his body at that time. We got to encourage him in the Lord. He had asked Jesus to be his Lord as a young boy but I got the impression that he had not been walking to closely with Him at this time. He seemed very joyful and blessed when we left him.

We were now in the Hospital as we had to use the washroom. While Trevor was still in the washroom I took advantage of the access in the hallways and got to pray for a young girl of about 5 or 6 maybe. She had been born prematurely and had some developmental disabilities. She was in a wheelchair. Her mother let me pray but after I asked the young girl myself and I went to put my hand on her to pray she pushed it away. So I prayed just by stretching out my hand toward her. Her countenance changed a bit and she seemed to accept me more after the prayer. I got to encourage her and her little sister who believed in Jesus and angels. I encouraged them in the gospel in as simple a way as I knew how and they seemed very happy to hear the good news.

I also go to pray for their grandmother who had some health problems but she didn't feel comfortable sharing them with me. I just commanded complete healing and restoration over her body and life in Jesus' name. She also seemed very blessed and thankful afterward. I did not ask if there was any difference after prayer. To be honest, I forgot to. haha.

I then got to pray for another teen girl who had been in the Hospital with seizures. She did not have any way to judge any improvements as she was not experiencing them at that time. I believe she will not have anymore and encouraged her in the same!

We left outside of the Hospital again and met a woman who had been there for tests on a growth in her womb. We declared healing and life and a good report, that the doctors will have no explanation as to what happened. She did not feel any manifestation at that time and did not have any pain before hand to gauge a difference. I assured her there would be a good report as we left them.

It was a really good night. It is so encouraging and fulfilling to be used by the Lord in ministering to others. He can and will use you too. Just trust Him, and step out and love on people, commanding their bodies to be well in His name, and any spirit's to leave them. They must obey.

Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Matt. 5:16

In Jesus - 09-20-2012

Today I met Melanie who had pain in her left hip. She said it was injured permanently but she had pain today as she worked out too much. I said a short prayer with my finger on her right shoulder commanding the pain to leave and the hip to be completely healed and restored. After that, she said it was feeling really good. She knew the gospel but when asked if she was born again she didn't know what that meant. I got to share with her the importance of being born again by the Spirit of God and how that was truly being restored to God. I also got to share the importance of baptism. She was very blessed and so was I. It is so wonderful being used by Jesus to show people some of the benefits of being in His kingdom.

Luke 22:29
And I bestow upon you a kingdom, just as My Father bestowed one upon Me

In Jesus - 09-16-2012

Today I met a man named Sam and his friend Jimmy. Sam had a neck brace and a cane. He said he was hit by a car. It was a hit and run. He also reported pain from arthritis in his joints, especially now that it is cooler out. He let me pray for him. I took his hand and with my voice, took authority over the pain and any spirits of infirmity or pain and commanded them to leave his body in Jesus' name. It was a quick prayer of about 10 seconds. He was able to freely move his neck and said all the pain in his body was gone. I got to share the gospel with him but it appeared to me that he wasn't ready to give up his drinking.

I could tell Jimmy was a bit surprised to see what happened to his friend and asked "He's real isn't He?" referring to Jesus. I assured him that He was. He asked me to pray for him to set him free from an addiction to alcohol. I took his hand and commanded the spirit of addiction to leave him in Jesus' name and told him that he now had a choice to walk in the ways of the Lord. I encouraged the both of them to get Bibles and read them to know how to walk as God wanted them to walk, free and clean.

I met Eric who had a tensor bandage on his right wrist. He said his wrist got crushed by a forklift. There was a miscommunication at work and his workmate thought he told him to go but meant the opposite. He said the pain was at a 6/10 and after I put my hand on his wrist and commanded it to be healed and all pain to leave, it went to a 5/10. He let me pray again and after the second time, all the pain was now gone. He was a Christian too. I got to encourage him that he could do the same thing. He was actually on his way to see his Mom in another province as she just had a surgery and he was going to look after her. He said he would pray in the same way for her.

...He had rays flashing from His hand, And there His power was hidden. Habakkuk 3:4

...they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover. Mark 16:18

In Jesus - 09-05-2012

At work today a girl that was sitting next to me was complaining about the pain she was experiencing in her back from her weekend of riding Seadoos and tubing. I asked her if she could estimate what the pain would be on a scale of 10 with 0 being nothing and 10 being the worst. She said it was about a 6 off and on. I asked her if I could show her something and she replied a little leerily, saying "I don't want to be worse." She was thinking I was going to do some sort of Chiropractic thing. hehe. I said, "No, no, nothing like that." I placed my right pointer finger on the side of her left shoulder and commanded the pain to leave her back and her muscles to be loosed and relaxed in Jesus' name. She thought it was interesting as I don't think anyone had ever done anything like that to her before. I explained that I pray for people all the time and they get healed. I shared with her the testimony of the partially deaf woman who was healed back on July 23rd, 2012. She thought that was totally cool. She joked and asked if I could pray and get her help with doing her job better. She thanked me and said she would let me know if there was a change.

As I went for a walk at lunch and was thinking about the situation, I felt like the Lord was saying that this event would be instrumental in her eventually coming faith in Him. After returning from lunch, I asked her how her back was doing. She said, in a surprised tone, "It is actually doing better!" I assured her that He (Jesus) was real and she agreed and indicated that she thought everything happened for a reason. I felt to leave it at that.

It is really so simple to be used by Him. Just make yourself available, believe and step out. It's so worth it. Ask Him to use you and He will.

Encouraged - In Jesus - 09-04-2012

A few weeks or so ago I got to speak to and pray for a dear man in his 90's. I was on my lunch break out walking when I met him. At the time when I asked him, he mentioned that he was not ready to meet his maker should he perish that day. He knew he was not right with God. He mentioned having some problems in his body and that the doctors didn't know how long he would live. I encouraged him to repent and make himself right with God. I encouraged him that God wanted to walk with him and love him. I got to pray for healing in his body.

Yesterday I was having such a hard day at work and went for a walk at my lunch time, the Lord set me up for some great encouragement. I ran into this dear man again and he mentioned he was now attending church and was feeling much better inside his body. I could see love in him. He shook my hand a couple times with such love. Brought tears to my eyes just typing about it.

Thank you Lord!!

In Jesus - 08-29-2012

I saw a man sitting by with a cane so I approached him. Vern had a complete knee replacement and osteoarthritis pain which showed up mostly when it was cold. He let me pray for him. I command the arthritis pain, all infirmity and any unclean spirits to leave him and not return in Jesus' name. As well I prayed for his knee to be transformed back into, or recreated as a new bone knee. I could tell something was leaving him as I prayed. After prayer he said he felt wonderful. He reported feeling lighter. We talked about Jesus, repentance and salvation and after answering some of his questions, he said that he was going to go back to church this Sunday after not attending one since he was a young man. He said that he was very glad that we had the conversation that we did.

I notice a man who walked with a noticeably crooked walk. I approached him and asked if he had back pain. He confirmed and I explained many times the reason was a shorter leg or body being out of alignment. His name was Bill and he let me pray for back pain to leave and a short right leg by about 1/2 an inch to grow out. I had him sit down on a near by bench and commanded his leg to grow out in Jesus' name as I held up his legs showing him the evidence of the shorter leg. It eventually came out to be the same length as the other. As well the pain left him. The funny thing about this situation was, that it was being stubborn and not coming out. I noticed that Bill was praying so I told him that he did not have to pray. I then continued to command and it still did not come out. I was distracted by a sound made by a vehicle and looked up at the vehicle and so did Bill. It was at this moment that his leg shot out, haha! He felt it come out and immediately reported it feeling better. He was thankful and said that I gave him a polar massage? I assured him it was Jesus who healed him and explained why. He was a catholic man who said he was born again. I shared with him that he could do the same for his friends and family.

Thank you Jesus!

Good to Be Zealous in a Good Thing Always - In Jesus - 08-01-2012

'In Jesus' from Today 08-10-2012

Today I once again got to pray and share some more with the young man I work with. The cyst in his mouth has continued to go down in size, but as I promised yesterday I prayed again. He shared that he had prayed in the past for God to show him a sign that He was real. I believe there is an exciting future in God for him!

I also got to say a quick prayer for another woman I work with. She was having chest pains and has some knee problems. Testimony to follow!

________

I realized that I forgot to blog my day on August 1st, 2012. I did share my experience that day with a friend on Facebook so I figured I'd just edit it a bit and share it here as well. So the below is my 'In Jesus' from 08-01-2012:

But it is good to be zealous in a good thing always (Galatians 4:18)

Tonight was kind of odd. I went for a walk in the park and tried to approach a number of people for healing and to share the gospel. No one would stop for me. I felt like I was almost chasing people down. A car full of elderly people actually drove off in almost a panic when the lady in the front passenger seat said "Wait a minute, if I am sick or have some pains, you will make me better?" and I responded with "Not me, but Jesus in me will." Once the man in the drivers seat (who just one second before, seemed very interested) heard me say that, he said "Well, thank you very much" and floored it out of there. haha! I think one of them still had their door open. I laughed, but I was disheartened by it. As I first talked to them, I was excited to see he had a bandage over his right elbow and I was thinking that I was going to get to heal him, or the others in the car for that matter. I did get to pray for one of them though. They initially stopped to look for a head bust of a man they seemed to know, Israel Asper. Only a man from the back seat of the car got out and walked along looking for it while the others stayed in and following along slowly. That was when I met up with them. After asking the man walking, he let me pray for heart problems and 4 other things he would not let me know about. I just spoke healing over him in the name of Jesus as I walked beside him. I asked him how he felt after praying and he said "Good!"

Another woman was jogging toward me and I approached her and started to ask if she had any pain or sickness. She pointed to her ear and nodded her head 'no', in what I assumed was to say she was deaf. I motioned with my hands as if praying, then pointed to the sky, and pointed to her and then to my own ear. Thinking she would understand I wanted to pray to heal her. She pointed to herself then put her hands together to say she prayed for herself. I tried my hand gestures one more time and she just smiled and kept jogging. I even yelled out "Please!" as she was leaving. haha! I was just so excited as I felt she was going to be set free right then and there.

The same sort of thing happened for two other groups of people who just would not stop. One of the persons even admitted to having health problems, but would not stop to talk and did not want prayer.

I finally got to meet one man and share the gospel with him. He talked of other religions and felt that there is good in all religions, and in mankind in general. The truth was shared and I'm hoping Holy Spirit will convince him otherwise. I did get to pray for his bad knees and onset of osteoarthritis. He said he felt some difference after prayer but not much. Most importantly he said he was very grateful for the conversation and said his spirit was flying. I remember him saying too that what I was doing was love, in action! Wow!

Thank you Jesus!

Kings, Lords and Priests

...how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. Acts 10:38

This was not just for Jesus, folks!

"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. "If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. John 14:12-17

You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. John 15:16

I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. AND THE GLORY WHICH YOU GAVE ME I HAVE GIVEN THEM, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me. John 17:20-23

For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. Now He who establishes us with you in Christ AND HAS ANOINTED US IS GOD, who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee. 2 Cor. 1:20-22

But YOU HAVE AN ANOINTING from the Holy One, and you know all things. 1 John 2:20

But THE ANOINTING WHICH YOU HAVE RECEIVED from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him. 1 John 2:27

and HAS MADE US KINGS AND PRIESTS to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. Rev. 1:6

Some tidbits from a few commentaries in reference to 2 Cor. 1:21:

Every Christian is a king and priest to God, and has received an anointing from the Holy One.

As “Christ” is the “Anointed” (which His name means), so “He hath anointed (Greek, “chrisas”) us,” ministers and believing people alike, with the Spirit.

The Greek of anointed is χρισας, that is, hath given us of the same Spirit which renders Jesus the Christ.

It was customary to anoint kings, prophets, and priests on their entering on their office as a part of the ceremony of inauguration. The word “anoint” is applied to a priest, Exodus 28:41; Exodus 40:15; to a prophet, 1 Kings 19:16; Isaiah 61:1; to a king, 1 Sam. 10:1; 1 Sam. 15:1; 2 Sam. 2:4; 1 Kings 1:34. It is applied often to the Messiah as being set apart, or consecrated to his office as prophet, priest, and king - that is, as appointed by God to the highest office ever held in the world. It is applied also to Christians as being consecrated, or set apart to the service of God by the Holy Spirit - a use of the word which is derived from the sense of consecrating, or setting apart to the service of God. Thus, in 1 John 2:20, it is said, “But ye have an unction from the Holy One and know all things.” So in 1 John 2:27, “But the anointing which ye have received abideth in you,”

Saints, yes, you are priests and kings, yes, you are already anointed... What do priests do? They minister. What do kings do? They rule and reign.

And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. Rev. 19:16

Who are the kings and lords that He is King over and Lord over? We are!

HalleluYAH!!!

Lets renew our mind to this truth and become doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving ourselves.

Amen?

Healing Brings Joy, Testimony Updates, and Rejection - In Jesus - 08-09-2012

Today on my way to work I got to pray for a Christian man who had back pain. Some of the back pain left but most of all he said he felt very uplifted and was thankful for the prayer.

I then got to pray for a woman on my way home from work who had pain in her right foot. The pain left after 2 short prayers of commanding the pain to leave in Jesus' name. First one with my hand on her shoulder and the next I just pointed at her foot and command it to go. She was a Christian too and was very happy after that.

I also have a couple follow up testimonies from people I prayed for yesterday:

I met the young man from yesterday who was beat up and robbed and he still had no pain. I got to bless him with a gift of some money to fill his belly with some food.

I spoke to the young man I work with and the cyst in the back of his throat was almost gone. Thank you Jesus! I told him that if it is not completely gone tomorrow we'll pray again. He was ok with that.

I got rejected by a few people also... I am continuing to ask and believe for words of knowledge to assist in this. Thank you Holy Spirit!

God bless y'all!

Press On! - In Jesus - 08-08-2012

I awoke this morning to find an email from my Mom that my Dad had been taken to an out of town hospital with chest pains yesterday afternoon. After some blood tests the doctors there said he had a heart attack. I went to work with faith and trust in God as healer and commanded healing for him from where I was. I was angry at the devil for this as I felt as if it was a direct attack against my family for me stepping out lately as I have been. I wasn't going to let that deter me. I found out once I got home from work that he is doing very well even saying he feels like going back to work, but they are wanting to do a scan tomorrow morning to see if there is still a blockage. Thank you to those of you on Facebook who prayed as well. Love y'all! I am believing they will find nothing or that the Lord will use this for His glory beyond what I can imagine. Jesus you are so good!

Today during my morning break I approached a young man who I thought had some pain as I saw him stretching while on his bmx at a skate park. He did not, but was a Christian so I encouraged him explaining that we as Christians can all go heal the sick, cleans lepers, raise the dead and cast out devils (Matt. 10:7-8) and that is what Jesus called us to do (See here, and here). While I spoke with him his friend walked up to us and I found that he had been beaten up and robbed just a day or two ago. He said he had pain all over; back, leg, hip, his head. He let me command healing for him while his friend witnessed and got a little real life training and the young man said it was a bit better but said that the pain moved around to different spots of his body. I commanded a spirit of infirmity to leave him and he said all pain was gone. I later met him at my second break of the day and he was still pain free. Thank you Jesus!

At lunch I prayed for another man who had a problem where his ears could not register sound at the 40 db range. After prayer he couldn't test it out as just then his tour group returned and he had to go. He was a bus driver waiting for their return. Besides I don't know how we'd test that! haha.

I also got to pray for another gent who said he had pains from time to time in different places, but none at that time. He let me command the pain to not return in Jesus' name. I believe he'll be well!

I got to pray for a young man I work with who had a cyst in his mouth and the weren't sure what it was referring him to a specialist. As I commanded the cyst to be gone in Jesus' name, he started to feel very hot and started to sweat. I explained that can be a common thing when God is healing a person. I am waiting to hear the good report!

I approached a number of other people during the day, at least 6 or more, all of whom rejected me, some very vehemently, one woman even threatening to arrest me? She was a postal worker. I guess she meant a citizen arrest? I don't know. I blessed them all anyway!

In the evening I met up with a brother in Christ, Cliff (Hi Cliff, haha!) to pray for his back and after many times commanding healing and laying hands on him, he reported some improvements. Thank you Lord that you will complete it! After all, it is 'by whose stripes we WERE healed' (1 Peter 2:24 Past tense). It was already done 2,000 years ago. So thank you Jesus that Cliff is already healed! I did notice his left leg was short by a couple of millimeters (Yes, that minute of a difference, haha) and that grew out instantly when commanded to do so in Jesus' name. He felt stretching in his knee as it came out. I also got to encourage him by showing him how I step out to love on people as I approach them to heal them in Jesus.

First I noticed a man walk into the mall with a brace on his leg and some crutches. I saw him go into a store with his girlfriend or wife but wanted to wait for them to come out. Somehow we missed them, so we went for a walk to meet people and bless them. We got to pray for an older gent in Walmart (bag checker at the doors) who had arthritis pain all over, he said all pain was gone after 2 quick prayers. I felt he still had some issues (judging by his walk), but since he was working, I felt to just let him go. He seemed very blessed as it looked like tears in his eyes as he thanked me, Thank you Jesus! We then got to pray for a girl who had a torn ACL. She reported some improvement but seemed to want to get moving quickly so we let her go. Cliff and I were pretty much saying good bye and then the same man with the brace and crutches came walking up right behind us, haha. Thank you Jesus! We got to command his tibia to be completely healed and strengthened in Jesus' name. He was getting it checked out tomorrow I think to see if it was fully healed. He had no pain to begin with, but was a little afraid to put much weight on it to test it after prayer. Believing the doctors will find no fracture or trace of it in Jesus' name! We also approached a few other people who were obviously being oppressed by the devil, but most of whom did not want any prayer.

Thank you Lord for today! Be glorified more and more through us Jesus!

Some Knees, a Back, a Hip and a Happy Meal - In Jesus - 08-07-2012

I really don't feel like typing much so I'm going to try to keep this short.

In the afternoon today, on the street, I got to pray for a woman with constant knee pain at 3/10. After 3 prayers, all pain was gone! Thank you Lord!

Then I went out to Walmart to try to return something and met a young lady who was sitting outside with her friends or maybe a boyfriend and friend and she had just recently dislocated her knee. She had a pain of 8/10 and after praying a few times she reported it gone but when I asked her to stand up she said there was still some discomfort. One more prayer was met with a response of "Wow" and some happy faces looking back at me. They were Christians and I got to share with them a bit about how we can all do this. I gave them this site address, so hopefully they come check it out and get encouraged to do the same. Jesus you rock!

Heading into the store after meeting the three younger people, I was approached by a man for some change. I told him I would buy him something to eat as he looked like he was drunk and hungry. He agreed that was a good idea. I rushed in and bought a Big Mac Meal and came out to give it to him. He thanked me and after speaking to him about the Lord I found he had a bad hip pain. I prayed and the pain left. He thanked me and sort of stumbled off happily with his food.

Edit:
Woops, I forgot the person with the back pain! He was working in the McDonald's in Walmart cleaning up tables. As I waited for the Big Mac Meal to be ready I approached him and found he had back problems. 1 real quick prayer and it was gone. He also made a great face and when asked why, he said he felt the Holy Spirit touching him. haha. Awesome God!

I then go to meet a woman at the park who allowed me to pray for a chest cold to leave. She reported feeling energy entering in and it feeling more clearer. She allowed me to pray for some favor on her and the Lord to make Himself real in her life. Truth was shared in the midst of some confusion. She too got my web address.

If any of you are reading. it was a joy to meet you all. Jesus loves you and so do I. He wants to use you all too. Won't you let Him? It is so worth it! :) If you look through some of the other posts you will find links to some good teaching.

Jesus, be glorified! I love You, Lord!

2 backs healed and 1 soul brought into the kingdom of God - In Jesus - 08-05-2012

Tonight my brother in Christ, Trevor and I went for a walk and got the opportunity to pray for and minister to a number of people.

The first few people that we approached either didn't have any problems in their bodies or didn't want any prayer even though they did have problems. For whatever reason, I find that it is usually the Christians who don't want prayer when they have problems in their bodies. I don't understand that. Since we weren't having much success, I decided to ask the Holy Spirit for some words of knowledge and to use us for the glory of God. I have been asking for words of knowledge for a while but don't seem to get them very often.

Shortly after that, we ran into one young catholic man who didn't have any problems in his body, but after we encouraged him by sharing some testimonies and explaining that we can all, as believers in Christ, go out and heal the sick, raise the dead, and cast out devils, and walk just as Jesus and the other disciples did in the Bible (Matt. 10:7-8, John 14:12, Mark 16:15-18) he wanted contact later so I could get some training material into his hands so he could learn to heal the sick in Jesus' name. I made a mental note of his email and will send him some training material such as the JGLM DHT Training.

We then met 2 young men, one who had back problems with a pain level of 6/10 (10 being worst). After getting permission to pray for him, I took his hand and commanded his back to be healed in the name of Jesus and then asked him how it was. He said it was good. I asked if there was any more pain and he said no that it was all gone. He seemed pretty freaked out though and wanted to get going right away. Haha. Thank you Lord!

Then we met another Christian who had some intermittent shoulder pain which showed up mostly when he worked out. Initially he didn't want any prayer because he said he prays to God himself. I encouraged him that sometimes we need each other. I explained that there was a time when I had some pain in my body and prayed and kept believing for healing but it wouldn't leave. I then asked Trevor to pray for me and it went. He was convinced and let me command his shoulders to be healed and for the pain to not return. I believe next time he works out, he will be all better.

We were continuing to walk along when on the other side of the street we saw a group of young teens. I briefly thought to approach them, but I usually won't approach a group like that so I didn't think to suggest it and Trevor seemed to feel the same. I then started to feel heat in my left hand and thought right away that it was a word of knowledge and mentioned it to Trevor. He wondered, as did I, if it was for one of the teens we were just then passing by. At the same time we also saw a girl walking toward us on the same side of the street and both thought maybe it was for her instead so we continued to walk toward her to see. She veered off the side walk and avoided us very noticeably and to me it felt like that was our queue to go back to the group of teens. We approached them and asked if one of them had any pain or a problem with their left hand. None of them confessed to having that. I asked if they had injured themselves in playing sports or skateboarding or something like that and one of them said he had some back pain which he felt constantly. He reported the pain at a 3/10 scale. I asked to have his hand so I could show him something as I didn't feel it was right to explain why, but noticed he was a little apprehensive. Some of the other teens caught on right away as we later found out they were Christians and he wasn't and they were encouraging him to give me his hand. He did and I commanded the pain to go in Jesus' name. He checked it out and could not find the pain. Haha! We got to share the gospel with him and he wanted to ask the Lord into his life, repenting of his sins, and then allowed me to pray for him to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I also got to pray for another of the teens who was a Christian and had optic nerve dysplasia. We didn't see any change in his eyes at that time but I am continuing to believe he will be healed and give glory to God to encourage his friends and family. We also shared with them how they too can heal the sick and how God will talk to them in many different ways, encouraging them to just talk to Him more. At that time I also explained to the teens about why I initially approached them, explaining what I thought was a word of knowledge in feeling the heat in my hand. I noticed one of the other teens quietly asking the one who just gave his life to the Lord "Didn't you have some problems with your hand?" He motioned as if to say no to his friend so I didn't feel to press the issue. Both Trevor and myself noticed this and felt that he did have something going on there but for whatever reason didn't want any prayer. Or maybe it was all better by now. I guess we could have or should have asked further...

The great thing is, early in the evening before we went for a walk, I was encouraging Trevor with some testimonies and explained that I want to see more people saved, I want to see more people repent and come to the Lord. HalleluYAH! Thank you Jesus for answered prayer!

It was a good night!

Be encouraged to go and do likewise! He will use YOU!

"Sure, but it's not going to get better. I've had surgeries." - In Jesus - 07-31-2012

I went for a walk tonight in the nice 37° Celsius (w/Humidex) weather at the park. On my journey on the 'Peace Mile' I saw a young woman jogging toward me with a brace around her left knee. I decided to flagged her down, haha. After finding out she had the brace on because she tore her ACL and then explaining what I do in the Lord Jesus, she let me lay hands on her knee and command healing to come. But first, her comment was "Sure, but it's not going to get better. I've had surgeries." I just humbly responded with, "Oh, well, we'll see." She responded nicely with "Ok." She had a pain of about a 2 out of 10. After prayer she said she would have to see after walking for a bit. I asked her to test it out and followed behind. She turned back and said that it was better but there was still definitely something still there. I prayed again and her response was "Yes, it is good. It's all better." I shared the gospel with her but she didn't seem to be interested quite yet, in spite of the fact that her leg just got healed. She was very thankful though and love never fails! More seeds sown. Thank you Lord!

"I Didn't Know You Could Do That" - In Jesus - 07-31-2012

I haven't blogged for a few days. I have stepped out on a few occasions but no significant healings manifested at the time of prayer but of course I am believing they will or have already recovered after I left them. I also got to bless a few people with some love gifts in the name of Jesus and shared the gospel with a few. No one immediately accepting the Lord either. Seeds planted! I just wanted to share one experience I had today:

Today I went to renew my parking pass and while waiting for the attendant to finish my renewal application I noticed the attendant next to him stretching his neck and looking to the ceiling with his eyes closed. I asked him if he was in pain, "Ohhh yes!", he said. I asked what happened he said that he had hurt it somehow. But I honestly forget how. I walked up to him and asked if I could show him something, asking for his hand right there in the middle of the office and commanded the pain to leave and his back and neck to be healed in Jesus' name. There were 5 others in the front office area working and as this was going on I noticed some of them looking on in curiosity, haha. It initially left 50% and I asked if I could pray again. He obliged and this time all the pain left. I explained why that was possible and shared the gospel with him loud enough for some of the others to hear. He said that he goes to church and was a Christian but also responded "I didn't know you could do that." I shared Romans 12:1-2 and John 14:12 with him.

Jesus you are wonderful!

Faith Supercharge!

Feast on this!

Romans 10:17
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Matt. 18:19
Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.

Matt. 21:21-22
So Jesus answered and said to them, "Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' it will be done. And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."

Mark 9:23
Jesus said to him, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes."

Mark 11:22-24
So Jesus answered and said to them, "Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

John 14:13-14
And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

John 15:7
If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

James 1:5-8
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

1 John 3:22
And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.

1 John 5:14-15
Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

Pain Be Gone - In Jesus - 07-26-2012

For lunch today (I didn't take one to work) I ate some of the Father's food, John 4:31-34.

I first saw an elderly lady who was walking with a walker and her friend. I was across the street from them and noticed the light was green so I bolted to the other side. (Why did the Christian cross the road? To heal some broken lives? haha) I approached and explained my intention and they were delighted that I would do so. The elderly lady had pain in her knees and said she had her hip replaced when she was small as she had polio then. That was the reason she needed the walker. She said there was no pain in her hip though. Placing my hand on her left shoulder, in Jesus' name I commanded all pain and hindrances to her ability to walk perfectly to leave her body and by faith and the spoken word released the healing of Jesus into her knees and hip. She reported her left knee had no more pain but her right still did. I put my hand on her right knee and commanded it to be well. She reported it being better, but still something there. One more time, in Jesus' name I commanded it to be well and all pain to go and she reported all pain gone this time. She was very happy that I stopped to pray and heal her in Jesus' name.

I found that her friend had some lower back pain so I had her sit on a nearby structure making sure she was completely level and had her butt scooted all the way back. I explained the reason I was having her do that is because many times people with lower back pain will have a shorter leg and that is why they have the pain. She said "I do have a shorter leg!" I showed her that her left leg was shorter by 1/2 an inch. I commanded her left leg to come out in Jesus' name and it took 2 seconds and it was level with the other. She reported feeling a pulling when it happened. I asked her to checked her back but she said she didn't have pain there currently. Usually she would feel it in the morning when she would get up. To assure her I felt to place my hand on her back and commanded all bones in her spine to line up and cartilage to be whole. They were both Christian ladies and they both appeared to be very blessed and filled with joy. I sure was! Thank you Jesus!

Next I saw a woman at a bus stop and stopped to ask if she had any pain or sickness. She did not. She was a Christian too. I explained why I asked, and shared how the Lord just touched the two ladies a moment before. I encouraged her to step out and pray for others also. As I was almost finished talking with her I saw a man coming toward us and he had a brace on his knee. I said to her "Ok, well, I am going to go see if I could pray for this man coming toward us." Would you have guessed it? He was her boyfriend and was coming back to be with her. He reported a pain in his knee of about a 7 out of 10, with 10 being the worst. He let me pray and the pain went to about a 4 out of 10. I asked him to take off the brace and in Jesus' name, I again commanded healing in and pain to go. The pain went to a 2 out of 10. I prayed one more time and he reported the pain was gone. I had him try standing up without the brace and he said it was good. He put the brace back on though and I explained he didn't need that anymore. He wanted to wear it anyways. He said he was very encouraged by that and I also encourage him that he could do the same thing as well. He was also a Christian.

I started to head back to work and saw a woman in a wheel chair being pushed by two girls. I found that the woman had pain in her back and hip and the doctors didn't know yet what it was. She had just come back from the hospital as they were running tests. After prayer, pain was significantly reduced. I prayed again and she said it was all gone. I noticed that her color in her face seemed to be returning so I said that and the girls giggled which I assumed was from the joy we must have all been feeling. The woman in the wheel chair was smiling away. I wanted her to stand and try walking but the girls said the doctors didn't want her to until they knew what was up. I said I can respect that. I told her, "Well, now you can go back and tell them that Jesus healed you." Glory to God! They all seemed very encouraged. As was I! They were all Christians too.

I also got to pray for a girl at work tonight who had sprained her ankle. I knew about it for the last couple days but to be completely transparent and honest, I was somewhat fearing stepping out in front of all my co-workers and waited for a time when I felt comfortable to approach her. I was frustrated with myself for feeling that way and talked with the Lord about it on a number of occasions. I apologized to Him for feeling that way as in a way it felt almost like I was letting them or my job or more so fear to control me in this situation. I did not like it. Well, Jesus is faithful, patient and kind to me. He made an opportunity tonight. I got to pray for her but the pain in her ankle had only slightly disappeared. I feel as if I failed in this circumstance as I feel that if I had just stepped out when I had the opportunity to show the healing power of Jesus in front of numerous people at work, it had the potential for some great things. I feel I backed down and missed it letting fear and doubts to have a place in me. May I not do that again! I am learning and growing. Thankful for His patience!

Jesus You're glorious!!!

Customer Service Rep Healed Over the Telephone - In Jesus - 07-25-2012

Today I got to pray for a woman who was dealing with aches all over and a stuffed up head while talking with her over the phone. I commanded all the infirmity to leave and after speaking with her for a few more minutes I asked how she felt and she reported all aches had left her body and she sounded good and clear. Thank you Jesus!

I approached a few other people today but none of them wanted what I was giving away (Living water; John 7:38)

On a different topic, I really can't wait to meet our Lord face to face! <3

In Jesus - 07-24-2012

Today during lunch break I went for a walk again. First I met and got to pray with a man who said his wife (who was at home) had bad knees. He said he had just become baptized as a Jehovah Witness 2 weeks ago. They do not believe that miracles are for today so that was awesome and once he goes home to find her healed he will have something to think about when they tell him that. Thank you Jesus!

Next I met an elderly couple. The wife had her husband in hand and he was walking with a cane. I approached them and after explaining that I pray for people and God heals them and asking if I could do the same for them, he let me put my hand on his shoulder and command healing into his body, breaking off a 2 year diagnosis of Parkinson's disease. He reported feeling a tingling in his spine and said that he felt a difference when he walked. I declared that it was the Lord Jesus healing him and that it was not coming back. I could see that he knew the Lord as he agreed in the prayer with an "...in the name of our Lord." I blessed them and let them go. As I looked back in excitement (GOD is so GOOD! haha) I saw him walking with his cane held slightly up off the ground for many steps and when it was on the ground it didn't even look like he was putting any weight on it. Also as they stepped onto the road he had it held almost horizontal, which if anyone is having problems with walking I would certainly assume would be putting their cane down in that sort of situation. When I first observed them coming toward me, he seemed much more frail and unsure of himself and could tell he was using the cane much more. Parkinson's, you have got nothing, and no ground to stand on, in the presence of the kingdom of God in a believer (Luke 17:21)! Thank you Lord!

I then was back in the building almost done my lunch and met another elderly gentleman who was walking very frail looking. I approached him and he said he had a stroke. I explained what I do and he let me pray. He did not feel any difference or any noticeable change at that moment. BUT, believers shall lay hands on the sick and they SHALL recover, Mark 16:18. So, thank you Lord! I met one other elderly gentleman walking with a cane coming out of the washroom and asked if I could pray for him. He said no, but I put my hand on his back and blessed him and commanded strength into his body and bones. I asked him how he felt as he walked away. "Good!" haha. Thank you Lord!

Exiting the building on my last break of the evening I met a young teenage man. He was limping along and I approached him. He said he had just broke his toe. I asked him if it was painful at the moment. I believe he responded with "Oh yes, very much so." I explained that I pray for people and God heals them and he allowed me to do so for him. I did not put my hand on him, but instead only pointed at his foot, commanded the foot to be healed and all pain to leave, then tapped his foot with mine very lightly one time. He said it felt much better. I had him stand up on it to test it out and he stated "Yes, it is much better!" He also knew the Lord. I asked him if that encouraged him in the Lord and he agreed. I encouraged him also that we as Christians can all heal the sick. Sharing that Jesus gave us a command to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead and cast out devils (Matt. 10:7-8). It is our privilege to set people free. I said it was almost as if we get to be superheros and go around healing people. His little sister was standing there watching the whole time. His mother came by and I explained that I had just prayed for him and Jesus took his pain away. I asked him again if the pain was gone and he said "Yes, it is almost all gone." I wrote down my blog website address and gave it to him as I asked him if he would like to learn how to do this, healing the sick, and he said "Oh yeah, definitely!" So, young man, if you are reading this right now, check out the below links to start out with. They are some of the very best teaching and teachers on this subject that I have gone through myself. They will help you learn how to walk as Jesus Christ our Lord did, how Peter, Paul, Stephen, Philip and other apostles and disciples did, and still do today, walking in the power of the Holy Spirit and in the love of God to set people free and to give people something to really put their faith in, not just words (1 Cor. 2:4-5, 1 Cor. 4:20). Partially Deaf Ear Healed - In Jesus - 07-23-2012

Hahaha, JESUS!!! Can you tell I am excited? He is so good!!

Walking on my way to work today I saw a man sitting in a wheel chair in front of the neighboring apartment block with who I assume was his significant other. I approached them and explained I am a Christian, and pray in Jesus' name for people and He heals them and offered healing prayer for them. The man indicated that he had problems with his knees. Pain would come into them and sometimes shoot down into his feet. He couldn't stand as they would give out on him. He let me lay hands on them and command them to be healed and all pain to go and not return. He reported feeling tingling in his knees and the pain was no longer there. He did not want to try standing though. I asked if they had any other issues and he said he had a crooked and bad back from when he used to drive derby cars. I laid hands, commanded his back to be healed in Jesus' name and he reported relief there but still did not want to stand up and try walking. He said he will try when they get back up into their apartment. I am thinking I should have grabbed him and made him stand and walk (working of miracles) but I did not think of that then. haha. Thank you Jesus!

During my lunch break I was feeling what I can best describe as a lack, or staleness and it made me feel discouraged and down for no real reason. I talked to the Lord, asking why I felt this way and asked if maybe it was time to go on to other things, and what those other things should be, etc. Well, the Lord met me with some encouraging love to my heart and a feeling of His manifest presence on my body. Thank you Father! You love so well.

I need to start this next encounter with a story from the past. A few months ago while on a very late evening break from work (it was already dark out) I met a man who had approached me quite aggressively. At that time he was walking around and yelling out to no one but said it was some security guards or cops or something. I assumed it was demons he was dealing with and offered to set him free from the voices, or from the demons. He did not let me pray for him, but started to come at me aggressively, with his hands clinched (if I remember correctly) saying, "I'll set you free from demons." I immediately started to command the devils to let him go, in Jesus' name. He said to me "Wow, impressive. Who are you? What church do you go to?" His countenance instantly changed and he started to walk away from me. He kept going as I kept telling them to leave him. I do not believe he was set free though, as I later heard him yelling again as I was walking back to work. Well, after feeling the Lord's encouragement in the above paragraph, I ended up meeting up with him again. He was standing there talking to himself. I approached him and asked him again if I could set him free. Reminding him of our first meeting. He would not let me pray for him again and was talking all kinds of nonsense. Saying Jesus was a scribe and asking me who I thought the Holy Spirit was and then telling me I was wrong when I told him. I am thinking I probably should have just commanded them to leave him again, but by the time I thought of that, we had already parted ways and had walked quite a ways apart from each other. I told them to let him go in Jesus' name in any case. I suspect I will meet him again.

As I continued on and was walking along side an old cathedral I met a woman walking with her elderly mother in hand. The mother had those dark terminator style glasses on so I assumed she was blind. I was wrong though. I explained I am a Christian and pray for people and God heals them. The young woman smiled and said "Sure, you can pray for my mother." I found that the mother had a problem with bad circulation in her left leg. She let me lay hands on her shoulder and command the veins to be healed and circulation to be restored. She said she would not know if it was better yet, but would after a time of walking. I blessed them and was about to leave but noticed the mother had a hearing aide in her right ear. I asked if I could pray for that too. She took out the hearing aide. I put my finger in her ear, with her permission of course, and commanded the parts of the ear to be healed and hearing to be restored. She reported an improvement but couldn't say how much. I put my finger there again and in Jesus' name I commanded away. haha. She reported more improvement. She let me pray one more time. I commanded any spirits of deafness or infirmity to leave, and more healing to be completed. She then said that she did not think she needed the hearing aide any longer!!!! Comeon JESUS!!! hahaha! Oh man, I am just so pumped right now!!! Wow, Holy Spirit goose pimples were all over me at this point. The mother lifted up both her arms in excitement and she had a nice grin on her face. I asked how the leg felt again just to see if she could tell a difference now and then she explained that previously her leg would feel like it was lagging or dragging behind so I asked if she thought maybe it was a problem with her hip. The daughter thought maybe it was. The mother then reported having problems in the past with it. I laid hands once more and commanded her hip to be healed, blessed them again, let them go, and then went on my MERRY way.

I got back to work and got to talk with a lady I work with on the way in. I found out she had problems with her thyroid and a few other things and she allowed me to command healing in Jesus' name on her too. I then told her what had happened with the lady with the partially deaf ear and other problems just 15 minutes before. She said, "Wow, well, I hope it works for me too!" She didn't report feeling any different yet, but didn't feel too bad at the time to begin with. She said she would let me know if she felt an increase in energy or any difference. I didn't get a chance to ask her if her energy had returned by the time the night was over but I am expecting so!

THANK YOU SO MUCH JESUS!!!

In Jesus - 07-22-2012

I had to work today so during my first break I went for a walk as I usually do. On my way back I was walking up to and beside a black women dressed in what looked like a nurses uniform. Once I got next to her for a step or two, I felt a tingling in my left foot. I wondered if it was a word of knowledge for her so I turned to her and said, "This is going to sound strange but do you have pain or a problem with your left foot?" She looked at me somewhat curiously and said, "No, why?" I explained, "I am a Christian and sometimes God will reveal a person's pain or sickness to me and I will pray for them and He heals them. So when I was walking here beside you I felt a tingling in my foot and wondered if that was for you." We talked for a bit and she mentioned that she knew the Lord Jesus and that He was her everything. I said, "He is so good, isn't He?" She said, "Oh yes. And He will give us anything we ask from Him if we believe, asking in His name, and not doubting in our hearts." (John 14:13-14, Mark 11:23-24). I then asked if she had any pain or sickness in her body and she said "Oh yes." After asking where or what it was, she reported having pain in her right side under her right arm. She let me say a quick (approx. 15 second) prayer over her as I put my hand on her shoulder and thanking the Father, then  commanding the pain to leave in Jesus' name. She reported the pain was completely gone. She wasn't even surprised, haha. She just said "Yep, it's gone." while moving her right arm around in circles. She asked me where I attend church and I told her that I haven't been going for about a year now but was thinking of going somewhere soon. She said she usually attends a catholic church but had to work today so she doesn't go on the Sundays she has to work. I proceeded to encourage her that she could do the same thing for others, laying hands on them and commanding them to be healed in Jesus' name and they would recover because Christ has all authority in heaven and earth and He gave us that command (Matt. 10:7-8, Matt. 28:18-20, John 14:12, etc). She said she used to do that for others. I encouraged her by saying "You should keep doing it!" She looked at me as if she was contemplation that statement, haha. We parted ways with a God bless you for each other.

Thank you Jesus, You ARE so good!!

In Jesus - 07-21-2012

Tonight I stopped in at Canadian Superstore (grocery store) for some sushi and before paying for my items, I noticed there was a big man with a cane and his wife at another til. By the time I got to mine, they paid for their items already and were on their way out. I hurried to pay for my stuff at the self help self pay cash register and met them at the exit. I walked up to them and asked him "Is it a bad back?" while pointing at his body. He explained he had arthritis, and pain in his hip, and his spine was being crushed due to his weight. I asked him if I could show him something and he said sure. I asked to take his hand and he gave it to me. In Jesus' name, I commanded pain, spirit of pain and arthritis to go, and commanded his spine and hip to be healed. He reported feeling heat in his spine and a reduction of pain when he tested it out by walking. His wife was already walking a bit ahead of us, so after one more quick prayer with my hand on his back and then saying I would let them go but that I would be willing to stay with him until it was all gone, he said "That is OK, I am feeling all better now." and then thanked me for stopping. He said "It is nice to meet a Christian man who is willing to stop and pray for others. There is too much busyness in the world. Everyone is in such a rush." Before we departed I got to share Romans 8:11 with him and to encourage him that we can also pray for ourselves for healing and that same Spirit who raised Christ from the dead who lives in us, shall also quicken our mortal bodies.

Thank you Jesus, Holy Spirit, and Father!

Worship Him in Spirit and Truth

Worship Him in Spirit and Truth
(John 4:21-24)

When I worship the Lord along with songs that say things like "I want you more" or "We want more of you" or "We want Your presence" etc, I like to change the words myself and sing them as "I want to know you more" or "We want to know more of you" or "Thank You for Your presence" etc. The reason being is how do you get more of the Holy Spirit, more of God, more of His presence, when He is living inside you, you are one spirit with Him and He will abide with you forever (Rev.3:20, 1 Cor.6:17, John 14:16-17), when He said He would never leave you (Deut.31:6, Matt.28:20, Heb.13:5) or when Paul, but the inspiration of the Holy Spirit says you are complete in Him (Col. 2:10)?

I think it is important we have the right mind set and say the right things to Him when we worship Him. Why is this important? Because correct knowledge is important to living as Jesus did, it is truth (John 8:31-32). Correct knowledge brings a correct identity and from a correct identity you will live correctly, from a correct identity you will live victoriously, in and through Him. How can you have or maintain correct knowledge and thus a correct identity when the words you say and sing don't even line up with the word of God (Prov. 18:21)?

A. W. Tozer once said, and I think it is true: "Christians don't tell lies – they just go to church and sing them"

I sometimes hear this sort of conversation when I or other Christians are singing these types of songs, or more specifically, tonight this is what I was hearing from the Lord on this matter as I worshiped Him:
Me: "I want more of you, Lord!"
Him: "I'm right here inside you, Chris. Just get to know Me better, know Me experientially, know Me exponentially."

Once I heard this, I started to incorporate this truth into what I was singing and soon began to flow in a beautiful spontaneous song that I truly felt was from His heart and I believe brought Him great joy, thus bringing me great joy. It was a wonderful moment with Him!

Now, as far as getting to knowing God more, this is biblical. And I will show you that below. Kenneth Wuest really brings out the meaning of the Greek words used for the knowledge of Him in the below passages that I would like to share which outline this wonderful truth. (Of course feel free to read them in their full context)

... that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of the glory, might give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the sphere of a full knowledge of Him, the eyes of your heart being in an enlightened state with a view to your knowing what is the hope of His calling, what is the wealth of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the superabounding greatness of His inherent power to us who are believing ones as measured by the operative energy of the manifested strength of His might, which might was operative in the Christ when He raised Him from among the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, over and above every government and authority and power and lordship and every name that is constantly being named, not only in this age, but also in the one about to come.
Ephesians 1:17-21 (Wuest)

...until we all attain to the unity of the Faith and of the experiential, full, and precise knowledge of the Son of God...
Ephesians 4:13 (Wuest)

Because of this, we also, from the day we heard, do not cease on behalf of you offering our petitions and presenting our definite requests, that you might be filled with the advanced and perfect experiential knowledge of His will in the sphere of every kind of wisdom and intelligence which is spiritual, so that you may order your behavior worthily of the Lord with a view to pleasing Him in everything, in every work which is good constantly bearing fruit and increasing by means of the advanced and perfect experiential knowledge of God
Colossians 1:9-10 (Wuest)

...and having clothed yourselves with the new man who is constantly being renewed, with a resulting advanced and perfect experiential knowledge which is according to the image of the One who created him.
Colossians 3:10 (Wuest)

...to those who have been divinely allotted like precious faith with us by the equitable treatment of our God and Saviour, Jesus Christ. grace to you and peace be multiplied in the sphere of and by the experiential knowledge of God, even Jesus, our Lord. Seeing that all things to us His divine power has generously given, the things which pertain to life and godliness, through the experiential knowledge of the One who called us by means of His own glory and virtue, by means of which there have been generously given to us the precious and exceedingly great promises in order that through these you might become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped by flight the corruption which is in the world in the sphere of passionate cravings.
2 Peter 1:1-4 (Wuest)

Please have a look at Romans 12:2 by Kenneth Wuest in regards to the this truth. Wow, eh?!

And stop assuming an outward expression that does not come from within you and is not representative of what you are in your inner being but is patterned after this age; but change your outward expression to one that comes from within and is representative of your inner being, by the renewing of your mind, resulting in your putting to the test what is the will of God, the good and well-pleasing and complete will, and having found that it meets specifications, place your approval upon it.
Romans 12:2 (Wuest)

Did you know that you also worship Him (or something / someone else; IE an idol, or another person) with your body every day by how you live? To give to Him your body, to be His hands and feet, your mouth to speak His words, if you live holy, free from sin as you have already been set free, now a slave to righteousness instead (Rom. 6:17-23, Rom. 8:2) walking by the Spirit (Gal. 5:16-25), you are offering to Him reasonable/rational service, or worship.

Romans 12:1 speaks of this:
I therefore beg of you, please, brethren, through the instrumentality of the aforementioned mercies of God, by a once-for-all presentation to place your bodies at the disposal of God, a sacrifice, a living one, a holy one, well-pleasing, your rational, sacred service (Wuest)

To enforce this truth a little more, the Greek word for sacred service, or just service in most translations is latreia, and Thayer's Lexicon gives it the definition:
1) service rendered for hire
1a) any service or ministration: the service of God
2) the service and worship of God according to the requirements of the Levitical law
3) to perform sacred services

So, to worship the Father in spirit and truth is not only to say right words and have the right intentions that line up with what He says in His word when you sing songs to Him, but also to offer our bodies daily, as a living sacrifice, as a holy and pleasing offering to Him. And to worship Him in spirit and in truth will result in us living and walking more and more as Jesus did (1 John 2:6)!

Won't you worship Him in spirit and truth? :)

You ARE blessed!

"He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."

Great worship song!

Why All Christians Should Take Christ as the Healer of Their Bodies

Hello dear friends! I am really loving this classic below and wanted to share a small excerpt from within its pages to give you all a taste and maybe influence you on purchasing a copy for yourselves. I believe it is worth every penny I spent to obtain it for my own reading and mind renewal purposes. I hope it blesses you all and sets you more free to live the life and life more abundantly that Christ put inside each and every one of us as new creations in Him (John 10:10, 2 Cor. 5:17, Eph. 1:16-23, Gal. 2:20, Col. 1:27, 2 Peter 1:1-4).

Reason 1 of Six Great Biblical Reasons Why All Christians Should Take Christ as the Healer of Their Bodies

excerpt from Bodily Healing and the Atonement by Dr. T.J. McCrossan

Reason 1

Because God used to heal the sick, and He is an unchangeable God.
    (a) In Old Testament times, God was man's Healer.
In Exodus 15:26 KJV we read, "If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee."
In Exodus 23:25 KJV we read, "And ye shall serve the Lord your God ... and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee."
Psalm 103:3 KJV, "Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases." God is still forgiving sins, and He is still healing diseases, or else He is not the same God He used to be.
Some Bible teachers tell us the Psalmist is here only speaking of spiritual diseases. These all quote Psalm 103:4 KJV, "Who redeemeth thy life from destruction," and then say (Modern Religion — Healing, page 139), "Present time healing of a sick body does not redeem it from destruction, but healing the life or soul of the sin, disease, death, does redeem both body and soul from destruction, through the resurrection."
Now these friends are wrong for three reasons:
    (1) Because the word for "disease" in Psalm 103:3 KJV in the Septuagint is nosos. This word is used nine times in the Septuagint and twelve times in the New Testament, and it always refers to physical disease.
    (2) Because the word for "healeth" in Psalm 103:3 KJV in the Septuagint is iaomai. This word is used twenty-eight times in the New Testament, and always for physical healing.
    (3) Because the expression "who redeemeth" (Septuagint) is ton lutroumenon, the one constantly redeeming (the present participle middle of lutroō). The use of the present participle here teaches the blessed truth that God is now constantly employed keeping life in our bodies (keeping our hearts beating — something we have nothing whatever to do with). We know this redemption is going on now and does not refer to the Resurrection, because of what follows in the Septuagint. It literally reads, "The one redeeming thy life from destruction [decay], the one crowning thee with mercy and compassion, the one satisfying thy desire with good things." etc.
The use of the present participle here, as all Greek scholars know, brings out the blessed thought that God is right now constantly doing all these things mentioned. The redemption spoke of therefore, in Psalm 103:3 has nothing whatsoever to do with the Resurrection of the future, but tells us of something the Lord is now doing on our behalf.
Psalm 105:37 KJV, "He brought thee forth also with silver and gold; and there was not one feeble person among their tribes." Why? Because God was their Healer.
Psalm 107:20 KJV, "He [God] sent [forth] his word, and healed them ...."
    (b) In the New Testament times, God was man's Healer through the Lord Jesus Christ, God in the flesh.
Matthew 9:35 KJV, "And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching ... and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people." Note, Christ preached and healed publicly.
Then Mark 6:12 KJV informs us that Christ, God in the flesh, gave power to His disciples to heal the sick. Mark 6:12-13 KJV says, "And they [the disciples] went out, and preached that men should repent. And they cast out many devils, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them." Note, these disciples, like their Lord, also held great preaching and healing campaigns.
Has God changed, or is He the very same God today that He was in the Old and New Testament times?
In Malachi 3:6 KJV we read, "For I am the Lord, I change not."
In Hebrews 13:8 KJV we read, "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." The Greek expression here for "the same" is ho autos, and means the very same identical person in every respect.
Again, James says (James 1:17 KJV), "Every good gift [including the gift of healing] ... is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning." The Greek word here for "variableness" is parallagē.
Here, then, James declares that God does not change even slightly. Now, God used to be:
    (1) Jehovah-shammah — "The Lord ever present."
    (2) Jehovah-jireh — "The Lord our provider."
    (3) Jehovah-nissi — "The Lord our banner."
    (4) Jehovah-shalom — "The Lord our peace."
    (5) Jehovah-raah — "The Lord my shepherd."
    (6) Jehovah-tsidkenu — "The Lord our righteousness."
    (7) Jehovah-rapha — "The Lord that healeth." (Exod. 15:26 KJV)
All admit that God is still:
Jehovah-shammah — "The Lord ever present."
Jehovah-jireh — "The Lord our provider."
Jehovah-nissi — "The Lord our banner."
Jehovah-shalom — "The Lord our peace."
Jehovah-raah — "The Lord my shepherd."
Jehovah-tsidkenu — "The Lord our righteousness."
Then, beloved, He is still Jehovah-rapha — the Lord our Healer, for James 1:17 KJV declares, "With [Him] is no variableness" (He does not change even slightly); or, as Hebrews 13:8 KJV expresses it, "Jesus Christ [God] the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever."
Since God (Christ) is just the same today as in the past, we ought to expect Him to have the same healing power.
