Giggles and glory to Jesus - In Jesus - 05-22-2013

Got to pray for a woman who had cerebral palsy today. She was happy for me to come pray for her. She giggled when I asked if I could. After commanding the sickness to leave her and speaking life into her body, she got out of her wheel chair to test it out, but only after her friend convinced her to try. She didn't want to initially as she said she was lazy. haha. She said she felt stronger and noticed a difference. I believe she will continue to be completely healed and no longer have any trace of the disease that the liar devil put on her. She will have a great testimony and be a woman amazed by the goodness of a God who paid for all our sins AND all our sicknesses and will tell the world! What a good good God!!

Bless the Lord, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:
Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,
Who redeems your life from destruction,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
Who satisfies your mouth with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
The Lord executes righteousness
And justice for all who are oppressed.
He made known His ways to Moses,
His acts to the children of Israel.
The Lord is merciful and gracious,
Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.
He will not always strive with us,
Nor will He keep His anger forever.
He has not dealt with us according to our sins,
Nor punished us according to our iniquities.
For as the heavens are high above the earth,
So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him;
As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He removed our transgressions from us.
As a father pities his children,
So the Lord pities those who fear Him.
For He knows our frame;
He remembers that we are dust.
As for man, his days are like grass;
As a flower of the field, so he flourishes.
For the wind passes over it, and it is gone,
And its place remembers it no more.
But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting
On those who fear Him,
And His righteousness to children’s children,
To such as keep His covenant,
And to those who remember His commandments to do them.
The Lord has established His throne in heaven,
And His kingdom rules over all.
Bless the Lord, you His angels,
Who excel in strength, who do His word,
Heeding the voice of His word.
Bless the Lord, all you His hosts,
You ministers of His, who do His pleasure.
Bless the Lord, all His works,
In all places of His dominion.
Bless the Lord, O my soul!

Pain subsides some, yet faith not reconsidered - In Jesus - 05-09-2013

Earlier this evening I met an elderly woman named Netty. She was walking with a cane very slowly down the street. I caught up to her and said "You look like a woman in pain. Do you have pain in your body? Why do you have the cane?" I found out that she had osteoarthritis in her left knee. I explained that I pray for people for healing and God heals them and that I wanted to do that for her. She let me. The pain was initially at an 8, with 10 being the worst. I first asked to place my hand on her knee and explained that the reason was that the Bible says that believers lay hands on the sick, and they will recover (Mark 16:15-18). So she obliged.

After commanding the pain to leave and the knee to be healed in Jesus' name, she walked a bit with me, and reported that the pain went down to about a 5. I asked to pray again and explained "Jesus, the Son of God, the Creator of heaven and earth, had to pray for a blind man two times before he was fully healed" (Mark 8:22-26). I told her that I thought that maybe He did that for our benefit, to show us that it was alright for us to pray more than once to get the job done. Whether that is the case or not, I do not really know for sure. But it's what came to mind. She let me again.

I commanded the pain out, and healing in, once more. This time she said it was just fine, but after asking more directly she said it went down to a 2 or 3. I spoke with her briefly about the gospel and she proceeded to tell me that she didn't believe in Jesus, didn't believe in the virgin birth, didn't believe He rose from the grave, or in the resurrection, etc. I asked if what she saw just happen to her own leg helped her to believe more. She simply said no. I gave her some of the reasons why I believe in Him, how He's always so faithful to me, so kind and has healed me in the past and how he speaks to me. She seemed interested about it. I just left it at that. Hopefully she will reconsider her beliefs and come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ.

In Jesus - 05-04-2013

Tonight Trevor and I went to Walmart. First we met a woman who had just had surgery on her right hand for carpal tunnel syndrome. It was all bandaged up. She said there was some pain. She let Trevor pray. He put his hand on hers and spoke to it and I stood in agreement. The pain left and she seemed quite surprised. I saw a young lady filming us as we prayed. She walked to her after we finished. I guess it was her daughter. I wonder if she knew that she just filmed a little miracle done by the King of kings, Jesus Christ.

Trevor had also noticed a woman in a motorized chair in one of the check out lines. We were on our way out, so we waited outside for her to exit the store. Once she came out, we found that she had arthritis in her left hip, nerve damage in her feet with pain, only had one kidney and diabetes. In Jesus' name, we commanded all the infirmity and pain to leave her, as well, we commanded a new kidney to be created and the other to be healed. I could tell that while we prayed she was feeling the Holy Spirit as she was slowly leaning backward. She reported the pain was almost all gone. Just a little was left in her right foot. She said she was feeling good, and very light headed. haha. We commanded the rest of the pain to go in Jesus' name and it did. By this time, her husband had already pulled up in a truck with a younger man driving. They waited as we prayed. Once we were done, we spoke to her husband and the driver of the truck. Her husband had pain in his right knee. He let us pray for that too. The pain left. He was very thankful. They were both believers. I gave him a little hug and he shook our hands as we parted ways.

Thank you Jesus!
