I believe Mark 16:18 - In Jesus - 05-09-2014

Today I stepped out to love on 3 different guys. The first one I met just a little bit after leaving work. I first walked over to a mall to get some cash from the bank machine as I knew I'd need some change for another mall I was going to be heading to. I was on my way back to my vehicle when I met him. He couldn't walk or talk very well. He was also drooling. I honestly forget, but I think he had been in an accident years ago and said that since then, whatever causes him to walk and talk like that, comes and goes. He didn't know what the cause of it was. He let me pray and command healing and life to his body 3 or 4 times over about 10 or so minutes of talking with him. We didn't see any improvement before I left him.

The second man was in a wheel chair at the second mall I visited. I walked past him after getting some food and saw that he was trying to move on his own with only his left leg being functional. I walked back to him to help him and got him to his friends at a bench around the corner. I then asked to pray for him. He had a stroke a few years ago and his right side was paralyzed. He let me pray a few times. We didn't see any improvement at that time.

The third guy I met outside a Tim Horton's coffee shop. I was sitting in my vehicle using their free Wifi after being at a marsh outside the city for a few hours. He had pulled up in his vehicle near mine and I noticed some friends of his walk up and start talking with him at his window. I went in to get myself a coffee and came back out wondering if any of them needed healing so I looked over but didn't see anything in the natural right away, so went back about my business. A few minutes later I looked over again and noticed that a wheel chair was now outside the vehicle and the driver had his door open to it. I hopped out of my car and asked to pray for him. We prayed a few times but didn't see him receive feeling or movement back in his legs just then. He was paralyzed from the waist down. He did report feeling tingles in his body though.

The first and the last guys were both Christians and they were thankful for the prayer. The middle guy did not seem to me to be a born again believer. He knew the truth about Jesus, but I had the sense that he wasn't walking with Him. I shared the gospel with Him and I am sure those seeds will grow.

I believe that God's word is true and that certain signs follow believers. I am a believer, and I laid hands on them, and now they will recover. Mark 16:18 says so. And God does not lie. I encouraged each one of these guys with those words.

I have run into people a while after praying for them and not seeing any visible sign of improvement at the time of prayer, but they have said that a while after leaving me they were well. The symptoms had left and their situations had changed. And they knew that God had done the work in them. I also encouraged all three of these guys with those words.

I am always believing for the dramatic and instant healing miracles, but don't always see that..., yet! I will see them more and more, I know it!

Holy and righteous Father, Your kingdom come, You will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Be glorified in the Son, through me. I want to partner with You, and make myself available to You, every day in any way. Let Your grace flow, let my mind be renewed, and to God be the glory, to man be freedom. In the name of Jesus! Amen!

Stroke effects improve - In Jesus - 12-09-2013

I went for a walk at lunch. Oh my Lord! It was cold. -34 Celcius with windchill and I didn't really dress for it. So I didn't walk as far as I usually do. If I hadn't turned back, I wouldn't have run into Jackson. He was heading my way. I noticed he had his right arm curled up at his belly and his right leg would drag the tip of his foot as he walked a step with it. I told him I pray for people and Jesus heals them and asked if I could pray for him VERY fast as it was so bitter outside. He said yes. I asked for his right hand and commanded him to be healed and all effects of the stroke to leave his body and then placed my hand on the back of his neck and did the same. I asked him to move and test it out. He said it was better. He seemed to be able to put his arm down freely. I asked him if he knew Jesus. He said he had. I told him that it would continue to improve and thanked him for letting me pray. We parted ways. I looked back and it didn't seem that the tip of his foot dragged as he stepped forward with it any longer, but still had a bit of a limp. Thank you Jesus that you don't stop for the cold! haha!

Every one of you saints can do this. No gift is needed. Only believe. Pray that the Lord would use you, keep your eyes and ears open to see who you can pray for, and He will use you! God bless you!

*Update* In Jesus - 02-04-2013 - Shaking leaves, and tunnel vision improves

During my walk at lunch today I got to meet a dear old fellow named Noel.

As I turned a corner, I first noticed him walking very slowly and unsteadily toward me while using a black cane in his left hand to stabilize himself. Approaching him, I felt that this was a great opportunity for the Anointed One within me to shine His kingdom on this dear man's body and set him free. I began to grin with excitement.

"Can you imagine if you had no friends and there was no snow?" He said to me.

I didn't think I heard him correctly so I asked him to repeat himself. I had heard him right. I just giggled and smiled at him, as I really didn't know what to say to his questions.

I proceeded to ask him about the cane and why he was using it. He said that the only reason he had it was because he had tunnel vision. I asked him if it was also due to weakness or pain in his body but he insisted that it was just so people would know that he had vision problems. Judging by the way he was walking though, I suspected otherwise.

I explained that I pray for people and God heals them and then decided to encourage him with a testimony about the woman who I prayed for last summer in almost the very same spot who the Lord opened her partially deaf ear.

He gladly welcomed the prayer for healing for his tunnel vision. He reported having it for the past 10 years.

I asked him if I could put my hands on his eyes but he didn't feel comfortable with that. He did however let me put my hand on his shoulder.

By speaking to his body and the blindness he reported having, in Jesus' name, I commanded the blindness and any unclean spirit's associated with it to go. I commanded his optic nerve, retina, eye muscles and tendons to be healed. I commanded the function of the brain to be restored. And then asked him to look around and test it out. He reported it as being the same. After speaking to the condition a bit more his left arm started to shake uncontrollably. He informed me that was his ailment which he also had that for the past 10 years. It was all due to a stroke.

I put my hand on his head and commanded life and healing to flow into his brain and body. I commanded the shaking to stop. It stopped and started again briefly. I continued to take authority over it in Jesus' name and rebuked any devils to leave him.

He let out a couple coughs and then looked up at me and said "I think it's gone." Asking about the tunnel vision, he was looking around in amazement and saying that it was still there but it was better. I asked him to try walking with me. As he walked with me he held his cane in his hand lengthwise in the air rather than using it for stability.

He remarked, "I can't believe this. How did you do that?" While praying for him I determined that he was a Christian as well so I just explained how in Isaiah 53:4 it says that Jesus bore our sickness and carried our pains and that just as He died for our sins 2000 years ago, He paid for our diseases the same day when He was beaten, bruised and whipped. I explained that just as we receive salvation by faith in what Jesus did by taking our sins, we receive healing by faith for what He did by taking our diseases. In faith in what Jesus did, I simply released what He already paid for into your body.

He was a very happy gentleman with tears of joy running down his face.

I assured him that I believed the vision will continue to improve to become completely well, explaining that there have been times when I pray for people and they are healed after I leave them and I then run into them later to find out that fact. He said that he believed so, as well.

I returned to work weeping with joy at the goodness of the Lord!

Update 02-05-2013:

I ran into Noel again today and he was still using his cane, so I approached him to ask how he was doing. He said he was good and that I did a good job. I assured him that it was Jesus. I asked him about the tunnel vision and he said he still had it. I wanted to pray again so I asked him to see when my hand started to disappear as I moved it out of his line of sight to gauge improvement as I prayed. However there was no improvement reported after prayer today. His left arm also started to shake again. I commanded it to stop and it did. I explained to him that in Jesus' name he could command any sickness and disease to leave too, even from his own body. To encourage him, I shared a testimony from my own experience in doing this where a lump under my skin was growing and after commanding it to leave, it had.

I don't understand why sometimes we see little improvement and other times it is lots or a complete healing. I was talking to the Lord about it after and just recalled Him telling the disciples about why they couldn't cast out the demon from the epileptic boy in Matthew 17:20, So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. I asked Him to forgive me of my unbelief and help me to not doubt. I just want to know, that I know, that I know, that what His word says is true and really live it... Believers lay hands on the sick and they recover, as well as the other signs that follow them, Mark 16:16-18; Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father., John 14:12; and He has given me authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means harm me, Luke 10:19...
