In Jesus - 01-18-2013 - He will make the crooked things straight

During my lunch break this evening at work I went for a walk as I always do. I was leaving the building and I noticed a man walking toward me with his right shoulder noticeably lower than his left and I could tell he was in pain as he walked with a sort of swagger and a slight grimace on his face. I had my headphones on and was kind of focused with my own intent on going for a walk. I was about to continue on and walk right past him, but I did not. I turned to face him just as I had passed him, popped out my headphones, and said "hello!", explaining that I pray for people and God heals them, and that I had noticed he was in pain and had a bit of a crooked walk, then asked if I could pray for him. However, I quickly found out that the man did not speak much English. He tried to explain that he didn't understand me. I tried to see if he had heard of the words, Jesus, God, healing, pain, prayer and he simply nodded no with a bit of a confused look on his face. I asked him "What language?" He responded "Ukrainian... Russian." I tried to think of how to say Jesus in Russian but I don't know how! haha! I tried to make gestures with my hands pointing to the sky and then putting my hands together as if praying and then pointing to him to show him my intention. It didn't seem to make sense to him. I then decided to just put out my hand toward his, and he did the same, giving me his hand as if to shake it. I proceeded to command the pain to leave his body and his back and shoulders to be straight. I pointed at his chest while commanding and was not looking at his face. He must have been quite confused. I let go of his hand and told him to move around and test it out while making motions with my body to show him what I meant. He moved around and I asked him by saying "Better? better?" He nodded yes. I could tell he still had some pain as I heard him grunt or wince as he moved. I stepped closer to him and put my hand on his back this time, thanked Jesus for healing him and continued commanding his body to be healed and made whole. He tested it again and had a smile on his face as I was asking again "Better? better?" I smiled back and pointed to the sky again and said "God! God!" He nodded his head yes and said "Thank you" as we parted ways. I was walking away but decided to stop and turn around to watch him leave in the opposite direction. His shoulders now looked to be the same height and he no longer had any visible limp or swagger like before. Jesus is AWESOME!!!!

And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them. Isaiah 42:16 KJV

Peace, grace and love!
