"What a wonderful Christmas gift" - In Jesus - 12-24-2013

Today I was going to go for a walk to the local postal outlet to pick up my dad's gift that had been delivered there and I was just at the door about to leave when I believe the Lord gave me an impression that there was a person begging for money at a specific corner which I knew I would be going by. I had the thought that I was to bring a small gift of cash with me to bless him for Christmas. I wanted to be obedient so I did so. I also thought to make him a mix of dried cranberries, almonds and pecans as well. Putting the money in a small ziplock bag with the mixed nuts, I also added a couple gospel tracts and then left my apartment.

On my walk to the postal outlet I found a set of Skull Candy ear buds on the road. Score! I needed a new pair of ear buds. A set of Klipsch S4i Rugged ear buds (Really good!) I had previously, had broken, and I didn't really want to, or felt that I could afford the money to replace them. Thank You Lord Jesus for the early Christmas gift! haha!

I continued on my way and noticed a girl up ahead coming out of a store who had a winter hat on which had a pink skull on either side of her head. As I approached I asked the Lord in my heart if there was anything I could bless her with as in praying for healing for her, or a word. I didn't hear anything immediately and walked past her. I got about 20 feet away and started to feel a pain in my back on the left side. I turned back to ask her if she had any back problems. I could tell she was very uninterested in anything I had to say as she looked at me briefly when I initially asked then she continued walking past me saying "No" without looking back. I followed her slightly explaining that I thought the Lord had told me she did and that I pray for people for healing. She continued on, with her back toward me, and said "Well, I don't need any prayers". I just said "Ok" and let her go.

I got to the corner I had thought the Lord told me about and sure enough there was a young man there with a sign waiting for traffic to stop at the light in hopes that someone might give him some change. I approached him and told him that I felt that God told me to bring this for him, handing him the bag of mixed nuts with the cash visible side up. I told him there was money in there pointing to it and he commented on how he could see that. I also explained that there were some gospel tracts in there explaining about how to have a relationship with God. He seemed somewhat indifferent and said he knew the Lord already. I asked him how he was doing and if he was dealing with any pain or sickness in his body, telling him about how I like to pray for people for healing. He said he was on methadone for the last 8 years. I didn't know what that was for so I asked him, thinking it was for pain, if it was for back pain. He explained how he was on it because he used to be addicted to heroine and they give it to people to help them with withdrawal symptoms. I asked him if he wanted to be free from that. He said he didn't, so I asked why. He seemed to get a little agitated and just said "Because I don't want to". I asked "Shouldn't you be coming off of that too if it was just to help with withdrawal symptoms"? He nodded yes while sort of shrugging his shoulders. I questioned him further about how he thought he knew the Lord and asked him about denying himself and putting to death his sins. He said "No way". I shared with him about repentance and that the word says that if we love the Lord we keep His commandments, and how we become holy and pure as He is holy and pure if we know Him, because His grace teaches us to do so. I admonished him a little about how we need to examine ourselves to be sure that we are in the faith. And shared that if we don't know what the word of God says, and follow it, we can be deceived and not walk as we should, explaining that we don't want to get to God in that last day finding that we were lacking. He seemed to listen intently at this point and in the end agreed with me. He thanked me for the gift and I wished him a Merry Christmas shaking his hand and then left him to continue on to the postal outlet.

I walked beside a coffee shop and noticed a woman with a walker coming out from there heading to the side walk that I was on. I approached her to ask about pain and she commented "Can you tell"? Looking at me with a smile on her face. I asked what she was dealing with and she explained that she was born with a bone deformity and now had arthritis and her feet were really hurting her. I told her I pray for the sick and Jesus heals them and she let me pray for her. I took her hand and in the name of Jesus Christ, I commanded her body to be healed, her bones to come into alignment and for all arthritis and pain to leave her body and feet. Also speaking to any unclean spirits breaking off their hold and commanding them to leave her. It was just a short 20 or 30 second prayer. I finished up and asked her how she felt. She said with a surprised expression "You know, its actually better"! I asked if there was any pain left and she said "No, it's pretty much gone". I laughed and said "Praise Jesus"! She thanked me and said "What a wonderful Christmas gift"! I found out that she was a believer too, so as I explained about how I believed she would not have to deal with that any longer and that if it started to want to come back on her, how she can command it to go from her in Jesus' name and to continue to thank the Lord for healing her. We parted ways, but I ended up running into her again at the postal outlet store and spoke with her some more and she shared about how amazed she was that it was so much better. Thank You Lord!

After picking up my parcel I stopped at an unsaved friend's place to give him a Christmas gift of some chocolates, some coffee and some honey garlic pepperonis, and then went for a walk. After my walk, I decided to stop at a grocery store to buy some salad and some other things for dinner. I found a $16 full lobster on sale for $8.88 so I bought that for my dinner. Mmmm, it was so good :D Haven't had that in years! While I was at the grocery store I met a man who was walking with his cart and seemed to be in a lot of pain. I approached him and he indicated how he was in a lot of pain and had MS. He let me pray and as I prayed he said he felt tingles all over his body and felt much better. He was a believer too. It really amazes me how many Christians I tend to minister to out and about. I will usually question them though, to see if they believe they are born again and have the Spirit of God inside them, being restored to God, and that they are sure they will go to heaven when they pass, just to be sure there isn't something to share on regarding a correct walk and relationship with the Lord.

So that was my Christmas eve day. It was a good day.

Thank You, Lord!

I want to ask that anyone who might be reading this to pray for me as well. I seem to be dealing with some health issues that continue to linger and they must and will go. But I do covet your prayers, and thank you for standing with me. God bless you all and Merry Christmas!

"Ok, watch this." - In Jesus - 12-12-2013

Walking home from work today I noticed a man who was walking toward a set of front stairs for a building I was walking by and noticed that he seemed to be favoring one of his legs a bit more than the other. I walked toward him saying "Excuse me sir." He was already up the small set of three steps and I was still at ground level when he looked at me. Looking up at him slightly I asked "Do you have any pain in your body?" He said "Ya, in my knee." pointing to it and then moving it toward me slightly. I asked if I could pray for him but he didn't seem to hear me. I thought it was funny that he moved it toward me though, so I just said "Ok, watch this." and put my hand on his knee and commanded "Knee be completely healed. Pain, go. Tendons, ligaments, cartilage, bones, be healed and made whole, right now, in Jesus' name." I stepped back saying "Check it out." while motioning with my own leg bending it up and down. I smiled at him while he was moving it up and down and he smiled back. I said "Gone?" and he said "Yep." nodding his head with a big grin. I asked "Do you know Jesus?" and he said "Yes." nodding his head. He went to shake my hand and said "Thank you." I said "God bless you." and we parted ways.

It's that easy saints. No formula though. Basically whatever way you do it, if you have faith that what the Lord Jesus Christ did 2000 years ago, 'by whose wounds we were healed' 1 Peter 2:24, Isaiah 53:4-5, Matt.8:17, that He has given you His Spirit and anointed YOU 2 Cor. 1:20-22, 1 John 2:20, 1 John 2:27, that He has given you authority Luke 10:19, and that He has given you a commission to go 'as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.' Matt. 10:7-8, Matt. 28:18-20, He will work through you and you will see others healed, set free, and saved. If they don't know the Lord, share what He has done for them (died on a cross for their sins, and rose from the grave to defeat sin, sickness and death) and compel them, saying if they repent and believe the good news, turning from their sins, and continuing to follow Him all of their days, they will be saved!

Stroke effects improve - In Jesus - 12-09-2013

I went for a walk at lunch. Oh my Lord! It was cold. -34 Celcius with windchill and I didn't really dress for it. So I didn't walk as far as I usually do. If I hadn't turned back, I wouldn't have run into Jackson. He was heading my way. I noticed he had his right arm curled up at his belly and his right leg would drag the tip of his foot as he walked a step with it. I told him I pray for people and Jesus heals them and asked if I could pray for him VERY fast as it was so bitter outside. He said yes. I asked for his right hand and commanded him to be healed and all effects of the stroke to leave his body and then placed my hand on the back of his neck and did the same. I asked him to move and test it out. He said it was better. He seemed to be able to put his arm down freely. I asked him if he knew Jesus. He said he had. I told him that it would continue to improve and thanked him for letting me pray. We parted ways. I looked back and it didn't seem that the tip of his foot dragged as he stepped forward with it any longer, but still had a bit of a limp. Thank you Jesus that you don't stop for the cold! haha!

Every one of you saints can do this. No gift is needed. Only believe. Pray that the Lord would use you, keep your eyes and ears open to see who you can pray for, and He will use you! God bless you!
