Cold be gone

I was out for a walk in the park tonight and had a desire to get some cheese to have on these sirloin burgers I bought yesterday from Shoppers Drug Mart, so I stopped in at Walmart on my way home. I love 24 hour Walmart! :) I got wayyyy more than I planned, as usual.

Anyway, I was walking down the meat isle with my hands full (I never grab a basket or cart! I so should!) and stopped as something caught my eye. As I was looking, a man who worked there asked me what I was looking for as if to help me. I said I was just looking to see what kind of almond milk they had. I said thank you for asking, didn't get any, and continued on. I got about half way down the isle and I heard him sneeze and start coughing into his shirt. He sounded very sick and phlegm-y. I thought *I should go pray for him. I pray for myself and colds always leave. I should go do the same for him!* I turned back toward him, approached him, and asked if I could do something for him. I asked if I could pray for him, explaining that I was a Christian and that I pray for myself whenever I start to get a cold and it goes away. I explained that Jesus had paid for all our sickness and disease and when you are a Christian He lives in you, that He said "All authority in heaven and earth has been given to Me" and that when we pray for people, we are giving Him a chance to heal people through us. He said "That's right" and nodded his head in agreement. He knew the truth. He let me pray for him. I put my hand on his shoulder and in the name of Jesus I commanded the cold to leave him, and the symptoms to go. It was like a 10 second prayer. I asked him how he was doing and he said he felt better. I suggested that he take a really deep breath. He did so and it was all clear! YAY JESUS!! haha!

I left after paying for my food and saw him outside taking a break. I asked him how he was feeling and he replied "good!"

You're so cool Jesus!!! I love You!!!

"No, I'm just a disciple of Jesus"

I went out today and stopped at the Bank to grab some cash. I came out after using the instant teller and saw a man walking toward me who was walking with noticeable pain.

I said "You look like a man in pain. What happened?"

He replied "My arthritis is really acting up."

I said "Here, let me show you something. Give me your hand."

Holding out my hand he grabbed it and I commanded pain and arthritis to leave in Jesus' name. Asking him to test it out, he said it felt better but it was not completely gone.

He started to walk away and I said "Wait a sec. lets get rid of it completely."

He turned back and I repeated the same commanding prayer but also thanked the Lord for his healing and what He was already doing.

He said "Wow, it's so much better! What did you do? Are you an apostal or something?" (That's not a spelling mistake, he said it like that, haha)

I said "No, I'm just a disciple of Jesus."

He had a weird sorta look on his face and turned to walk away in a rush. haha.

Jesus, You are so cool!!! Thank you for living through me!!!
